Nugget Markets is looking for dedicated bakery enthusiasts to join our passionate and talented bakery team! This is a full time position with shifts that start at 4:00am. Responsibilities The bread mixer's primary responsibilities include mixing and preparing hundreds of hand-formed artisan breads each shift. This will involve prepping produce and deli products for bakery items; mixing and scaling ingredients; benching dough; loading carts and racks with product; lifting and stacking flour; and operating all kitchen machinery including ovens, proofers, mixers and dough dividers while maintaining a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment. In addition, they will assist the bakery clerks and provide world-class service to our guests as needed. Qualifications You should meet the following minimum requirements: At least 18 years of age Possess basic math skills Physical ability to mix hundreds of pounds of dough and form into loaves Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds Have intermediate product knowledge including knowledge of temperature, chemical reactions, and bakery products Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules and signage Have a passion for putting out a great product consistently A positive attitude is essential!
