BREAKDOWN RECOVERY CONTROLLER

Position: Full time
Reports to: Carl Dalton
Location: Rochfords Garages, Durham Road Esh Winning, DH7 9NR
Working Hours: 42 average
Job Summary: The post holder will be responsible for working as part of a team on a 24/7 rota basis.
The successful applicant will be a key member of the control team and will contribute to the delivery of a quality service in accepting, deploying, and managing all recovery jobs in line with company guidelines, policies and procedures.
Preferred knowledge of Apex RMS operating systems Knowledge of Connect fleet tracking systems or similar (in-house training can be provided)
Must have an understanding of the motor trade with mechanical knowledge and good geographical knowledge of the Northeast and UK
Minimal of 2 years’ experience working in a similar environment
Able to demonstrate effective management skills in deploying all breakdown recovery jobs
Computer literate
Basic level of administrative skills
Health and Safety Legislation
Ability to work independently as required
Ability to develop good working relationships with customers / clients / clubs and Staff
Ability to communicate at all levels
Willingness to undertake training to advance
