As a Breakfast Attendant, you’ll assist with Breakfast operations to ensure superior service and standards whilst delivering a memorable guest experience. You’ll work with a team that promotes a positive and efficient team culture. You’ll ensure compliance with all health, safety, or other requirements.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the General manager, the Breakfast Attendant will provide customer service, guest satisfaction, and a quality work environment.

• The flexibility to work various shifts on a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays. Ideally you will have experience in a Restaurant or Hotel environment, minimum of 1 year. You must also meet the legal requirements to work in this country.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma is preferred
• Ability to work with food and hot dishes
• Carries ‘Food Safety Handling’ card is a plus
• Complete Health and Safety in four steps is a plus
• Ability to follow instructions and be detail-oriented
• Professional and friendly with all guests. Ability to achieve guest satisfaction
• Prior experience in Food and Beverage is an asset

• To provide friendly, efficient service.
• Prepare and arrange food that are attractive and appetizing to the guests
• Inspect food being served.
• Meet service standards.
• Inspect to ensure stock is adequate before beginning operation.
• Know what items are not available to guests.
• Replace and rotate stock correctly.
• Keep condiments stocked.
• Full knowledge of served items and methods of preparation as needed.
• Works within policy to accommodate guest’s special requests.
• Service and stocks items in a prompt and courteous manner and according to established service standards.
• To clean and clean tables as required using proper sanitation program.
• To report any irregularities or comments from our guests to management.
• To acknowledge and create a warm welcome to all guests
• To consistently exceed guest expectations.
• To ensure surrounding staff are working safely.
• Product knowledge of food will be helpful.
• Attributes such as being polite, courteous, and working effectively in a team environment are a must.
• Be familiar with hotel services offered
• Attend any training sessions or meetings (when asked)
• Other duties may be assigned by management
