Fairfield by Marriott in Kamloops, BC is currently seeking to recruit positive and friendly person to join our award winning team, in the position of Breakfast Host. We are looking for an individual who likes to take care of guests and is genuinely interested in the overall operation success of the hotel. This is full time position with starting time at 6:00 AM.

REQUIREMENTS

· Availability to work early morning shifts
· High school degree or higher
· Food Safety Certificate is a bonus
· Prior food preparation experience is a bonus
· Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance.

· Set up the breakfast in the morning and ensure fresh items are presented throughout the shift.
· Help with serving and attend to guest needs, answering questions and going above and beyond for our guest needs.
· Collect any plates, napkins, or flatware left behind. Maintain and clean all service areas used including breakfast and lobby area.
· Maintain and clean all refrigeration units used during and after service.
· Break down the buffet, ensuring all parts are clean, polished and stored, and are ready to go for the next shift
· Perform side work as needed.
