Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team at our hotel. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring that our breakfast area is clean, well-stocked, and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Set up the breakfast area before guests arrive, ensuring that all food items are properly displayed and replenished as needed
- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, assisting with any questions or requests they may have
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the breakfast area, including wiping down tables, chairs, and countertops
- Monitor food levels throughout the breakfast service, restocking items as necessary
- Prepare fresh coffee and other beverages for guests
- Assist with food preparation, such as cutting fruit
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and allergens to provide accurate information to guests
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the safety of our guests
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations in the breakfast area
Skills:
- Previous experience in a guest service role, preferably in a hotel setting
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional hospitality to guests
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Basic kitchen skills, including food preparation and handling
- Cash handling experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
