We’re searching for a Full Time Breakfast Attendant to be responsible for providing guests with a warm, welcoming, and satisfying breakfast experience. This role ensures the breakfast area is clean, stocked, and inviting while delivering excellent customer service. You will play an important part in creating a positive start to each guest’s day.

Located next to the popular Christiana Mall and directly across from Christiana Care Hospital, our 135-room property welcomes guests from all over the region, including nearby Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. Whether it’s business, family travel, or university visits, we pride ourselves on creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every guest.
Requirements:

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Ability to greet and interact with guests in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure buffet area is always neat, stocked, and appealing.
  • Knowledge of basic food handling and safety procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks during busy breakfast hours.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure or fast-paced situations.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to consistent attendance.
  • Neat and professional appearance in accordance with hotel standards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays based on hotel operations.
Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly and provide assistance with breakfast service.
  • Set up, maintain, and replenish the breakfast buffet area to ensure it is clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout service hours.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines.
  • Assist guests with special requests or dietary needs in a courteous and helpful manner.
  • Clean and sanitize tables, counters, equipment, and service areas regularly.
  • Properly handle and store food items according to safety standards.
  • Work closely with kitchen and front desk staff to ensure seamless service for guests.
  • At the end of service, break down and clean the breakfast area, preparing it for the next day.
