Job Summary:  As a Breakfast Attendant you will prepare breakfast bar for hotel guests while greeting and servicing them in a friendly manner consistent with brand and/or hotel and sustainability standards.   Your goal is to provide Level5 Hospitality and service for each and every guest.      Duties/Responsibilities: * Ensure setup is complete each morning for the breakfast buffet and fresh foods are always available during the service hours * Serve guests with food and drink orders while they are in the dining area and replenish as necessary * Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty garbage * Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly * Address visitor questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently * Follow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment * Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean glassware, dishes, or trays * Fill beverage and ice dispensers * Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers * Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction * Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment * Performs other related duties as required   Required Skills/Abilities:   * Level5 High Touch service   * Flexibility with shifts and scheduling * Must be available weekends and/or holidays * Must have transportation to and from work * Must have stellar attendance and punctuality    Education and Experience:  * Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification * Experience working in food service is preferred * Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality * Outstanding time management and organizational skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team member Physical Requirements:   * Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift. * Must be able to access and navigate the facility. * Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment. * Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
Responsibilities
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for setting up and maintaining the breakfast buffet, including food preparation and beverage replenishment. They must also ensure the dining area remains clean and sanitized while providing friendly service to hotel guests.
