JOB SUMMARY

The Breakfast Attendant (Complimentary Attendant) is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and assisting guests with the hotel’s complimentary breakfast service. This includes greeting guests, ensuring food and beverage items are stocked and presented to standard, and keeping the service and dining areas clean and inviting. You’ll also assist with guest questions about the hotel and local area, and help ensure every guest starts their day with a smile.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous food service or hospitality experience a plus
  • Must be able to work AM shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Must obtain and maintain Food Handler certification as required by city/county/state
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the shift
  • Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
  • Positive attitude, strong teamwork, and a genuine desire to serve guest

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service
  • Set up, maintain, and restock the breakfast buffet to brand standards
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables and dining areas throughout the shift
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of food, beverage, and service areas
  • Accommodate guest requests and offer alternatives when possible
  • Ensure food handling and safety standards are followed at all times
  • Assist with dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and side work as needed
  • Answer guest questions about the hotel, amenities, and local attractions
  • Communicate with other departments about VIPs or special needs
  • Perform opening and closing duties according to station assignments
  • Carry out cashiering functions (if applicable) and end-of-shift paperwork
  • Perform other duties or attend meetings as assigned by management
