Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during breakfast hours. This is a dynamic role that requires a passion for food service and a commitment to delivering a warm and welcoming experience. Responsibilities - Greet guests and provide friendly and attentive service during breakfast hours - Prepare and serve food and beverages, including specialty coffee drinks - Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and restrooms - Assist with food preparation, including meat cutting and plating - Handle cash and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system with accuracy and efficiency - Use OpenTable to manage reservations and ensure a smooth seating process - Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and addressing concerns - Work effectively as part of a team to ensure the success of the restaurant - Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment Experience - Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing situations - Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures - Experience with cash handling and operating a POS system is a plus - Familiarity with hospitality software such as OpenTable is an asset - High school diploma or equivalent required Skills - Meat cutting - Restaurant experience - Cash handling - Culinary skills - Ability to help and assist others - Experience with OpenTable - POS system experience - Strong hospitality skills - Experience in the food service industry - Knowledge of coffee preparation and service - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
