The Brown Jug Cafe is a busy, fast-growing café in the heart of Gympie. We are looking for a Qualified Breakfast Chef to join our friendly team on a full time or part-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and café menu items to a high standard.
• Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Assist with stock control and ordering.
• Work efficiently as part of a supportive kitchen team.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen.

About You

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
• Previous experience as a qualified chef in a café or restaurant.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, motivated, and a positive team player.
• Availability to work weekends is essential
• Applicants must have unrestricted working rights in Australia.
