JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a breakfast chef to join our growing hotel team to deliver a quality hot breakfast to our guests and maintaining a clean kitchen. The role can be contracted to work from 2 to 4 mornings per week, depending on what you are looking for and will be for 5 hours each shift. Additional shifts may also be available, including some evening work. Regular hours are Monday to Friday 5.30am to 10.30am and weekend mornings from 6am until 11am.

• Preparing hot and cold food items from our menu
• Preparing for next shift
• Cooking food items by grilling, frying, MerryChef and Rational Oven to specified recipes and standards
• Supporting your hotel manager in ensuring that all Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations are met
• Keeping the kitchen clean and sanitised, you will generally be working on your own in the kitchen
• Facilitating special requests from guests
• Managing wastage through correct product measurement
• Completing all training to timescales and looking for ways to develop your skills and experience
• Food stock taking and ordering
• Arriving on time, in the correct uniform with a positive, can-do attitude!
