JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess high levels of standard and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for running the breakfast operations, ensuring all food preparation is to the highest quality, and ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of excellence. This role requires a blend of high cooking skill, organisation, time management and the ability to work alone and as a team within a high paced quality restaurant.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent team work skills with the ability to lead by example.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
  • A passion for culinary arts and a desire to help others grow within the kitchen team.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all prep is done to the highest standard for the breakfast section
  • Ensure all items are stock rotated and ordered in a correct manor
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Assist in the preparation of meals, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Monitor Stock levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
  • Handle customer feedback professionally to enhance dining experiences.
