As a Breakfast Chef de Partie, you will lead your section during breakfast service, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented consistently and to specification. You will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, working closely with the leadership team to maintain standards, support service delivery, and contribute to an organised and efficient kitchen environment. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of the breakfast section, ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards. Coordinate daily breakfast mise en place and service requirements to ensure a seamless guest experience. Prepare and present a range of breakfast offerings with consistency, quality, and attention to detail. Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to maintain efficient kitchen operations and service delivery. Assist with menu development, recipe refinement, and the introduction of seasonal breakfast offerings. Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant work environment in line with food safety and hygiene standards. Monitor stock levels within your section and assist with ordering, stock rotation, and waste minimisation initiatives. Support, mentor, and guide junior team members while fostering a collaborative and professional kitchen culture. Contribute to the broader success of the business by assisting across different kitchen sections and operational areas as required. Qualifications What We're Looking For: Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, or a strong Demi Chef ready to take the next step, within a hotel, café, or quality breakfast-focused venue. Strong knowledge of breakfast and brunch preparation, including à la carte service. A commitment to delivering high-quality food with consistency and attention to detail. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively during service. A positive and proactive approach, working collaboratively within a team environment. Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen compliance requirements. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required. A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional experiences.
