Lindeth Fell is a stunning small hotel, situated on the hillside, overlooking Lake Windermere, surrounded by beautiful gardens, its own tarn and woodland. The hotel has 14 bedrooms and a lovely 1 Rosette restaurant. With a focus on service and overall guest experience, Lindeth Fell has a luxurious but home from home feel. We can be flexible on hours and shifts to suit and are looking for between 16- 32 hours per week to suit the individual

KEY SKILLS

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Loves to cook quality food to a high standard.
  • Has experience working in a professional kitchen and has experience preparing quality food to order, in a timely manner.
  • Has attention to detail.
  • Has an organised approach to their work.
  • Is able to anticipate guest needs wherever possible and react accordingly.
  • Is able to manage stock levels and control wastage.
  • Has excellent Food Hygiene and Allergen knowledge.
  • Is a good team player, able to work with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Setting up the kitchen prior to the restaurant’s opening for breakfast
  • Preparing and prepping all breakfast items
  • Cooking breakfast orders as they arrive in the kitchen
  • Working closely with the food & beverage team
  • Cleaning the kitchen before the restaurant closes
  • Cleaning and sanitising their area with warm water and soap
  • Wrapping unused items and storing them in proper areas at the end of a shift
  • Ensuring all fridges are clean with products stored and labelled correctl
