The Royal Garden Hotel is looking for a Breakfast Chef to join the Origin Restaurant Kitchen team.
Our Breakfast Chef will run the Breakfast section smoothly and to the hotels standard. The Breakfast Chef must be able to work unsupervised and direct the breakfast brigade to produce a high standard of presentation and service.

Responsibilities
  • Makes sure that the standard of the breakfast is what is expected, and to maintain that standard.
  • Keeps the Executive Chef / Premier Sous Chef notified of any problems or complaints as and when they arise.
  • Set ups service properly and on time for each service period.
  • Ensures that all food is prepared to recipes designated by the Chef.
  • Ensures food quality and quantity.
  • Ensures that all mise en place is completed before service.
  • Works as a team member and is willing to work on same day preparation and advance preparation on other sections if and when needed, when requested by Executive Chef and Sous Chefs.
  • Carries out regular checks on food to ensure proper rotation and storage (all items to be covered with cling film, dated and labelled).
  • After service, Cleans work-tops and work areas - ensures that areas are left as one would expect to find them.
