We pride ourselves on our Seasonally changing Menu comprised of Yorkshire produce cooked fresh to 1 Rosette standard with aspirations to achieve 2 Rosettes. We have the beautiful produce being delivered from 5 minutes away from our Kitchen Garden at Mount St John. We have a talented team of Chefs in place and are looking for a Breakfast Chef at Commis Chef level to join our team.

We are offering a competitive package -
- Hourly pay in the region of £12.21 to £13.00 dependent of experience
- Tips split equally between all members of the team using TiPJAR app which allows weekly or monthly access to tips. We average £2.50+ per hour worked
- 28 days holiday, pro rata

• Regular shifts over 5 days with flexible shift patterns available. Usual working hours would be 7am until 3:30pm with some flexibility expected

• Staff discount for food & accomodation across the collection

• Opportunity to be involved in development of ever changing specials & also be involved in catering for our private lodge close by if desired

• Live in accommodation available if required
  Responsibilities and Duties

The job would entail but is not limited to the following

• Serving Breakfast
• Preparing & Serving Lunches & Desserts
• Making & Baking of Bread Products
• Potwashing occasionally

A We are looking for someone who is…
· Experience in Fresh food kitchens & safe handling of Meat, Fish & Vegetable preparations
· Passionate about food and service, motivational and strives for excellence.
· Can work to tight specifications as well as demonstrating innovation and creativity.
· Organised and willing to cover a range of tasks including food preparation and order requests for designated section
· A strong team player, with a ‘can do’ attitude, who can gain and holds respect with our customers, and working with kitchen and front of house staff.
· An excellent communicator and relationships building skills.
· Conversant in Food Hygiene and Food Safety regulations.
