Job Summary ( Inuvik, NWT)
The Breakfast & 2nd Cook is responsible for preparing breakfast and assisting with the preparation of lunch and dinner services in small camp settings. This role includes maintaining food safety standards, supporting the Chef, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. The position involves both independent and team-oriented tasks in a dynamic camp environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve breakfast daily, ensuring meals meet health standards and dietary needs.
  • Assist with lunch and dinner preparation under the direction of the Kitchen Manager & Head Chef
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment, following food safety guidelines.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to accommodate special dietary requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of food usage and assist with stock management to minimize waste.
  • Support the Chef with menu planning and provide coverage during rotational shifts.
