Job Description We are looking for our next breakfast superstar to join the kitchen team in our rooftop restaurant and bar, Cleo. Key Responsibilities Preparing and presenting high-quality breakfast dishes to Cleo’s standards Supporting senior chefs with breakfast prep, mise en place, and smooth service execution Assisting in the development and refinement of breakfast and brunch menu items Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment during early and peak breakfast service Ensuring consistency, quality, and attention to detail across all breakfast and brunch plates Bringing creativity and initiative while staying aligned with Cleo’s style and standards Supporting junior kitchen staff and contributing to a positive, efficient team culture Qualifications What we’re looking for Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef in a hotel or high-volume breakfast/brunch restaurant Strong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to high culinary standards Ability to work efficiently in early shifts and high-pressure breakfast service periods Strong teamwork skills with a proactive, can-do attitude Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays Additional Information What We Offer Worldwide Accommodation and Food and Beverage Discounts at Ennismore and Accor properties Be part of a creative, energetic, and supportive team Career growth opportunities across our wider hospitality group At Hyde Melbourne Place, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all team members.
