Description Job Summary Start your day by creating memorable guest experiences! As a Breakfast Server at The Canopy DC Embassy Row, you will play a key role in delivering a warm, welcoming, and efficient dining experience. This position is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and presenting the breakfast service while ensuring cleanliness, quality, and outstanding hospitality aligned with TBC Hotels’ standards. What You’ll Do Greet and serve guests with a positive, friendly attitude Ensure food quality, freshness, temperature, and presentation standards are consistently met Set up, monitor, and restock breakfast items, beverages, utensils, and supplies Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining, kitchen, and storage areas Clean and sanitize all service areas before, during, and after breakfast Assist guests with questions and respond promptly to needs or concerns Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures Properly manage food waste and adhere to safety guidelines Communicate supply needs, maintenance issues, and guest feedback to management Support team members and other departments as needed Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements What We’re Looking For Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Team player with excellent communication skills English fluency required; bilingual is a plus Qualifications Previous food service, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred (not required) Experience with breakfast or buffet-style service is a plus High school diploma or GED required Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (trays, supplies, equipment) Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout service areas Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with heat and steam Availability for early morning shifts Why You'll Love Working with TBC Hotels A supportive, people-first culture.
