What you'll do (mostly this...other duties may be assigned): Set up the buffet daily, ensuring that all items are well-stocked, and break down the buffet after service Greet the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness Serve water and/or coffee upon greeting the table Serve guests with food and drink orders while they are in the dining area and replenish as necessary Clear tables during breakfast using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware, and silverware in a timely manner Observes guests to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed Control quality and consistency of all food served Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness Total checks and accepts payment or refer guests to cashier Please note that the working hours for this position start at 5:30am. What you should bring to the table: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Must be at least 18 years of age Professionalism Ability to delight by anticipating guest needs and responding in a friendly, helpful manner Ability to display a consistently caring and respectful attitude Act as a gracious host to guests, vendors and candidates for employment
