The Fleece at Ruleholme is looking to expand our food and beverage team with the addition of dedicated Front of House (FOH) Breakfast Servers.
Are you a morning person? Shifts begin at 06:30, and our guests will be expecting a warm welcome and a smiling face to start their day. Breakfast service is all about prompt, efficient, and friendly service — so you’ll need to be well-organised, energetic, and capable of managing multiple orders at once.
There are also cleaning and restocking duties involved, so an eye for detail and a proactive attitude are essential.
We’re currently seeking someone who can work Monday to Friday, 06:30 to 15:30. If you’re available during these hours and think you’d be a good fit, give us a call — we’d love to chat further.

PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE NO LIVE-IN POSITIONS AVAILABLE. OWN TRANSPORT IS ESSENTIAL DUE TO EARLY START TIMES. EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL — THE RIGHT ATTITUDE AND WILLINGNESS TO LEARN ARE MORE IMPORTANT.

Your duties will include

  • Welcome customers and ensure a friendly, inviting atmosphere
  • Handle cash transactions accurately
  • Provide menus, take food and drink orders
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock levels at the bar
  • Answer questions about the menu and offer guidance on ingredients
  • Communicate customer orders to kitchen staff
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously
  • Check in with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints
  • Clear tables and remove used dishes and cutlery
  • Process bill payments
  • Ensure tables are clean and set for the next guests
