You don’t need to be a super strong swimmer, nor do you have to run miles along the beach to train! All we ask is you like to be outdoors, like to wear hats and sunglasses, and are not afraid of being in the water! We will train you to do the rest!!! If you want to get paid to have fun, get a great tan, and make a difference in people’s lives, then read on and put in your application today!!! * Lifeguarding/Attendant is a fun, admirable, and memorable experience with tons of privileges and rewards. Lifeguards are among the few summer jobs where you can truly make a difference in someone else's life, as well as your own. * As a Lifeguard you will be responsible for Attendant responsibilities as well as Lifeguard responsibilities. Attendants are those on top of the slide towers who assist guests getting onto the ride and ensuring a proper ride experience and safety. This also includes guest safety in pool and run out areas. Requirements:  •  Must be at least 16 years of age however if you are 15 and outgoing, a good swimmer, are responsible to follow your schedule, willing to work several shifts during the week and have great people skills then feel free to apply! There are several positions in the park that we are able to employ 15 year old's and allow you to train to become a certified deep water life guard when you turn 16.   • Must have a somewhat flexible schedule including morning, evening, weekends and holidays (no exceptions) from Memorial Day weekend (when school is not in session) through mid-September. We will work with special requests, but the more availability you provide us, the better schedule we can give you and allow you time off as requested since others are more available.   • Must be able to work in all weather conditions. • Must have excellent communication skills. • The Employee must interact with guest enthusiastically to initiate a meaningful connection.
