Job Details Job Location: Wilmot Administration - Tucson, AZ Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: Undisclosed Job Shift: Day Job Category: Health Care Description Radiology Ltd., a 500+ employee imaging company is seeking a Full Time Breast Navigator for our growing practice. The Breast Navigator assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the delivery of services for patients with breast health concerns. The role serves as a liaison between the patient and other members of the healthcare team to guide the patient through the process from diagnostic imaging, to biopsy, to diagnosis and treatment. The location for the position in Tucson Arizona will be at 2 of our sites, one on the Northwest area and the other at our Eastside location. Responsibilities: Works in partnership with the physicians, clinical team and patient/patient’s family to meet the patient’s health and treatment goals in a timely manner Understands the clinical, physical and psychosocial needs related to breast health and disease Facilitate physicians’ and providers’ recommendations for breast surgeons and other specialists Provide factual information, education, comfort and emotional support to patients in a caring manner Responsible for outreach to establish and maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external customers (physicians, diagnostic staff, nurses, office staff, community agencies and organizations) Facilitates increased awareness of community resources and assists patients/patient’s family in finding support Provide quarterly quality data/report card to the Breast Imaging Committee Assists in development of strategic/business plan based on organizational and community needs Qualifications Requires excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and listening skills Requires problem solving, decision making and critical thinking skills Must be able to work in a self-directed environment Computer literate; Microsoft Office competency required Nursing degree or Radiologic Technologist (current Arizona Licensure required) Experience in breast cancer/women’s health preferred Will successfully pass an exam through the National Consortium of Breast Centers’ (NCBC) to become a Certified Breast Patient Navigator within the first 12 months of hire Bilingual preferred (Spanish) Radiology Ltd. has competitive wages and we also provide health insurance with HSA match, free dental plan, vision insurance, short and long term disability insurance, 401(k), a free Telemed product and a rich vacation allowance.
