It truly takes a community to care for our community. Responsibilities Join our surgical team and Stoddard Cancer Center as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary oncology team. On-site chemotherapy infusion center Participate in clinical trials and cutting-edge research Robust operational support and resources in collaborating work environment Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community Full-time position Practice in inpatient and outpatient settings Opportunity to scrub-in and assist in the OR Perform high level procedures within scope Rotate through hospitals and clinics around the Des Moines metro Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination Qualifications Physician Assistant Board Certified Surgical experience preferred Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice Eligible to work in the United States We offer: Attractive incentive package A competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in.
