We are currently seeking an experienced Breast Ultrasound Technician to perform high-quality imaging services, focusing on breast ultrasound exams for both diagnostic and screening purposes. Responsibilities Conduct breast ultrasound examinations for both screening and diagnostic purposes, ensuring high-quality imaging in accordance with ACR and facility protocols. Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. Collaborate with radiologists to provide accurate, clear, and complete imaging data for diagnosis. Document and maintain detailed patient records, including imaging results and any relevant clinical observations. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is functioning optimally and complies with safety standards. Educate patients on the procedure and address any questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy. Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices. Qualifications Certification: ARDMS certification in Breast Ultrasound (required). Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience performing breast ultrasound exams. Licensure: Valid state license as an Ultrasound Technician. Strong knowledge of breast anatomy, pathology, and diagnostic imaging techniques. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork. Detail-oriented with the ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
