BreastScreen Receptionist Perm Part Time | 5 days per fortnight including Fridays Breast and Cancer Centre, Maroondah Hospital BreastScreen is a state-wide program that offers screening to women over the age of 40 for the early detection of breast cancer. You will be greeting and attending clients booked for imaging appointments at the Breast and Cancer Centre. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team with our radiographers, nurses, data team and doctors to provide the best possible care for our clients. Our Service screens around 10,000 clients annually and reports outcomes for around 40,000 clients annually as part of the BreastScreen Victoria Program. About you To be successful in this role you will possess: Medical Receptionist experience Highly developed interpersonal skills A strong commitment to high quality care The ability to work as part of a diverse team Excellent communication and organisational skills Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment. Those that are offerred and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offerred and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
