Permanent Full Time – to commence Term 1 2025
Brewarrina Christian School is a new school which commenced operation in January 2023 and will operate Kindergarten to Year 10 in February 2025, growing through to Year 12.
The school is a member of the Melos Group (www.melos.education) which operates 6 schools across NSW.

We are looking for an experienced Primary Teacher (Years 3-6) or Secondary Teacher (Stages 4 and 5) Science and Maths with the following skills:

  • Committed Christian of evangelical persuasion actively involved in the life of their local church;
  • NESA registration to teach in NSW;
  • A high standard of competency, proficiency and innovation as a classroom teacher;
  • The ability to integrate ICT into the curriculum;
  • A capacity to cater for different learning needs;
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with staff across the school and with parents/carers;
  • Strong administrative skills, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability;
  • NSW Working With Children Check clearance for paid employment;
  • Well-developed time management and problem-solving skills;
  • Experience in working in a diverse education environment including with indigenous students would be an advantage.

Applicants will need to be committed, practising Christians with exemplary skills; be prepared to work under the ethos of the School; have expertise; and an organised disposition.
Teaching staff who are non-local residents moving to Brewarrina will be provided with housing on site with only a minimal charge to cover utilities.
