Description

At Stone & Wood, we’re all about brewing good beer and doing good in the process. With strong roots in our local community and a firm commitment to sustainability, we’re proud of how far we’ve come—and even more excited about what’s next. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for 2 motivated and passionate Brewers to join our Brewing Team on a Permanent Full-Time basis at our Murwillumbah Brewery. What’s on offer? We know that diverse teams brew better ideas—and beer! Whether you’re coming from a brewing background or keen to get your start in the industry, this is a great opportunity to join a hands-on team, learn the craft of brewing, and grow your career in a supportive and inclusive environment. You’ll get to work with a passionate crew who care about quality, sustainability, and having a good time doing it. We’ll provide the training and tools you need—just bring your curiosity and drive! Shift requirement: This is a rotating shift role across our 3-shift weekly pattern: Day Shift: 6am – 2pm Afternoon Shift: 2pm – 10pm Night Shift: 10pm – 6am What we’re looking for: We’re after people who bring energy, initiative, and a love of learning. You’ll be working closely with a skilled and empowered team, learning best-in-class brewing practices and helping to craft the beers we’re proud of. A few things that will help you hit the ground running: Experience in brewing, food/beverage production, or manufacturing (a plus, but not essential) A background in science, trades, mechanics, or engineering A curious mind and a passion for process, quality, and continuous improvement A reliable, hands-on approach with a team-first attitude And of course… a love of great beer! If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves, dive into the world of brewing, and be part of something special—we’d love to hear from you. Already part of the Stone & Wood crew? Have a chat with your leader before applying. We’re a certified B Corp, which means we care about people, planet and purpose—not just profit. We’re committed to diversity, equity and inclusion, and we celebrate the unique perspectives that help us grow and innovate. We intentionally embrace difference and cultivate belonging every day, whether through our investment in our Reconciliation journey through our Innovate RAP, our commitment to gender pay equity or providing progressive people policies. If you need specific support or accessibility adjustments at any stage of the recruitment process, please let us know at talentacquisition@lionco.com so we can make sure that your recruitment process is fair and we enable you to shine. This includes tailored support for First Nations people, individuals with disabilities, those who are neurodivergent, and people who identify as transgender or gender diverse as we understand the unique challenges and concerns you may face.

Responsibilities

The Brewer will join the brewing team to help craft high-quality beers using best-in-class brewing practices. The role involves working a rotating shift pattern to maintain production and ensure quality and sustainability standards.
