OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Brick Layer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and bricklaying, with the ability to work on various construction projects, including residential and commercial buildings. As a Brick Layer, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing walls, chimneys, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials. Your expertise will contribute to the durability and aesthetic appeal of our projects.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in masonry or bricklaying is essential.
• Familiarity with roofing techniques is advantageous.
• Experience working with power tools such as saws, drills, and mixers is required.
• Proficiency in using hand tools including trowels, chisels, and levels is necessary.
• Previous experience as a carpenter would be beneficial but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical drawings accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Lay bricks, blocks, and other types of masonry materials in accordance with building plans and specifications.
• Construct walls, arches, and other structures using appropriate techniques to ensure stability and durability.
• Measure and cut materials accurately to fit specific dimensions.
• Mix mortar and other bonding agents as required for various applications.
• Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of masonry work with other construction elements.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with project specifications.
