We are currently seeking skilled bricklayers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and bricklaying, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures made of bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in bricklaying techniques and masonry practices.
  • Experience using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, and levels, as well as power tools relevant to masonry work.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during construction.
  • Knowledge of welding techniques is advantageous for certain masonry projects.
  • Excellent physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks over extended periods.

Responsibilities
  • Lay bricks, blocks, and other types of masonry materials in accordance with specifications and building codes.
  • Measure and cut materials using hand tools and power tools to ensure precise fitting.
  • Mix mortar or grout according to specifications for optimal adhesion.
  • Construct walls, arches, and other structures while ensuring structural integrity.
  • Repair existing brickwork by replacing damaged bricks or repointing joints as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and roofers, to complete projects efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
  • Keep tools and equipment in good working condition through regular maintenance.
