REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience as a bricklayer’s labourer
• A valid CSCS card is essential
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour in all weather conditions
• Hardworking, punctual, and dependable
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Own PPE (hard hat, boots, high-vis vest)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

O’Neill and Brennan are currently seeking a reliable and hard working Bricklayer’s Labourer to join our client’s team on a busy construction site in Taunton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous site experience who is looking to secure regular work with a well-established contractor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting bricklayers with daily tasks including mortar mixing and material preparation
• Loading and unloading materials such as bricks, blocks, and cement
• Moving materials across site using wheelbarrows or manual handling equipment
• Setting up work areas and assisting with scaffolding set-up if required
• Keeping the worksite clean and tidy, ensuring safe working conditions
• Cutting bricks or blocks to size using appropriate tools (under supervision)
• Following site health & safety procedures and reporting any issues to the site supervisor
