REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a bricklayer within construction/ engineering projects (rail experience desirable).
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Bricklaying or equivalent trade qualification.
  • CSCS card essential.
  • PTS (Personal Track Safety) qualification – desirable (training may be provided for the right candidates).
  • Ability to read drawings and work to precise measurements and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious approach, and capability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking experienced Bricklayers to join our delivery teams working on a variety of rail-related civil engineering and general building projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work across unique infrastructure environments, contributing to the modernisation and upkeep of the UK rail network.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute high - quality bricklaying, blockwork and associated masonry activities on civil and building projects.
  • Work on station buildings, retaining walls, platforms, and other rail-related structures.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, particularly rail safety standards.
  • Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and other trades to deliver projects on time and to specification.
  • Support general building activities when required.
