Position Title: Bridge Engineer

ABOUT THE CLIENT:

Our client is a reputable engineering consultancy based in Abu Dhabi, known for delivering large-scale infrastructure and transportation projects across the UAE. They are currently seeking a skilled Bridge Engineer with a strong background in consultancy work to join their expanding team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum 10-12 years of experience as a Bridge Engineer, with proven experience working for an engineering consultant.
• Strong knowledge of bridge design standards, software tools (e.g., MIDAS, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, CSI Bridge), and drafting tools like AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
• Familiarity with UAE authority regulations (Abu Dhabi Municipality, DOT, etc.).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• UAE experience is a must; must be currently based in the UAE.

  Pay: AED21,000.00 - AED22,000.00 per mont

• Design and review structural elements of bridges, underpasses, overpasses, and related infrastructure in compliance with local and international codes.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, and calculations for bridge and structural systems.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, geotechnical, and transportation engineers to ensure seamless project integration.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and method statements for bridge works.
• Attend site inspections, monitor construction quality, and provide engineering solutions for any technical issues during execution.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (AASHTO, Eurocode, DM, ADM, etc.) and client specifications.
• Liaise with authorities and stakeholders for approvals and coordination.
• Support project managers in delivering projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
