Full-service engineering firm with tradition and reputation that goes back over 40 years looking to add a Bridge Engineer to their Indianapolis office! Responsibilities: Design/plan various bridge projects based on applicable design specifications (steel plate girder, prestressed concrete girder, reinforced concrete slab structures) Conduct structural analysis to ensure highway structures strength and safety Prepare structural designs/contract documents (drawings specifications, estimates) Assist with the preparation of project budgets/schedules Perform calculations for designing bridges/transportation structures Requirements: B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on structural projects 4+ years of experience Experience using AutoCAD and/or specialized bridge design software Knowledge of Prestressed Concrete preferred Experience with layout/design of bridges and highway structures preferred Salary is commensurate with experience.
