BRIDGE ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN - DUBLIN

Roughan O’Donovan (ROD) is seeking to appoint a talented bridge engineering technician with a minimum of seven years’ relevant experience for a permanent position within our bridges group in Dublin.

As an experienced bridge engineering technician, you will play an integral role in the delivery of our bridge and multidisciplinary projects. You will be supported throughout by our teams in Ireland and the UK.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Production of engineering models, drawings and details for various types of bridges, retaining walls, culverts and other civil structures
• Preparation of conceptual design and detailed design drawings
• Performance of the role of project technician on multidisciplinary projects
• Review of steel fabrication drawings and shop drawings
• Delivery of high-quality engineering drawings in a timely manner
• Guidance and mentorship of junior colleagues
