OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a residential behavioral health setting
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in substance abuse treatment, halfway house, or similar setting
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and resolve complex issues

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven supervising experience in a residential or community care setting.
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and behavioral management strategies.
  • Experience in childcare or related fields is preferred.
  • Familiarity with addiction counseling principles is a plus.
  • Strong conflict management skills to effectively address resident disputes.
  • Background in social work or behavioral health is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in case management practices, including intake procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse populations.
  • First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain if not currently certified.
  • Experience with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) regulations is beneficial.

Is This Your Dream Job? As the Bridgehouse Manager (Non-Licensed), you will support overseeing the daily operations of the residential behavioral health program. This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for both clients and staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise staff members and coordinate daily activities within the facility.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to residents as needed.
  • Oversee childcare activities and ensure a safe environment for children.
  • Implement security measures to maintain safety within the residence.
  • Offer guidance in addiction counseling and support for residents dealing with substance use issues.
  • Manage conflicts among residents through effective conflict management strategies.
  • Conduct case management duties, including intake assessments and behavioral health evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and data collection related to resident progress and facility operations.
  • Administer medications as required and ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Foster strong communication with residents, families, and external agencies to promote collaborative care.
