Description Lead Innovative Bridge Design and Engineering Projects with Fisher Associates Fisher Associates is actively seeking a Bridge Project Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to lead bridge design, structural analysis, inspection, and load rating of transportation infrastructure projects. What You’ll Do as a Project Design Engineer Lead bridge design, including load rating, structural analysis, and foundation design. Develop design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for bridge and transportation structures. Maintain detailed records of bridge design documents, reports, and budgets. Participate in project planning meetings and align tasks to meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements. Support project managers with schedules, documentation, and presentations as needed. Ensure designs adhere to state and local standards and safety codes. Conduct field inspections and prepare detailed bridge inspection reports and analyze foundation design Provide technical support during construction, respond to RFIs and attend site visits. Salary Range $100,000-$130,000 Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors. Salary range excludes monetary value of benefits. #LI-Hybrid Requirements What You Bring, Your Expertise as a Project Design Engineer B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a Master’s preferred. Over 10 years of transportation experience, structures/bridge design experience preferred Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it. Proficiency in MicroStation, STAAD and Bridge Design Software. Familiarity with state DOT design standards (NYSDOT or PennDOT preferred) Professional performance standards aligned with Fisher’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
