We’re seeking a Brief Writing Attorney (remote) who shares our dedication to lawful immigration and advocacy. We are looking for a skilled Brief Writer preferably with a background in immigration law, Habeas Petitions and Circuit Court proceedings. The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail, a high work ethic, and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively. This is a 100% remote position with competitive pay, offering $80,000 - $90,000 annually, with the potential for higher compensation for highly qualified candidates. REQUIREMENTS:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school; active license to practice law in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in legal research and writing, preferably focusing on immigration law.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience as a Brief Writer, preferably in immigration law and Circuit Court cases.
  • Exceptional research and writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of immigration law, legal terminology, and court procedures.
  • Ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a remote team member.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on immigration law and related topics.
  • Draft high-quality legal briefs, memoranda, and other documents for Circuit Court submissions.
  • Prepare detailed statements and legal arguments and Motions with precision and clarity.
  • Collaborate with legal team members to ensure comprehensive and accurate legal documents.
  • Review and edit legal documents to ensure accuracy, coherence, and adherence to legal standards.
  • Work independently to manage and prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide updates on ongoing cases and projects.
  • Attend Master Calendar Hearings, Bond Hearings and Merits Hearings-remotely as needed.
  • Projects, as assigned, based on business needs.
