DESCRIPTION:

As a Cabin Cleaning Officer, you will work in a team and responsible for delivering Fleet Presentation services on behalf of Star Aviation to our Airline customers.
Due to the nature of airport operations, shifts are scheduled on a rotating roster (Monday to Sunday) and may range from 4 to 8 hours. Start times vary, with day shifts commencing between 10:30am and 12:45pm, and overnight shifts starting as late as 10:00pm and finishing as late as 3:00am (subject to flight delays). Successful candidates must have the availability and flexibility to attend any rostered shift within this timeframe.
Successful candidates will then progress to complete a mandatory medical assessment before commencing the paid training block.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • A valid Australian driver’s licence
  • A valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) - or ability to obtain one
  • A valid authority to Drive Airside Card (ADA) – or ability to obtain one
  • Competent in the operational requirements of Cabin Cleaning
  • Physically fit and able to perform lifting and bending
  • Understanding of the aviation industry
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Working in a high-pressure environment and to strict timelines
  • Customer focus to deliver exceptional service
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced team environment
  • Health and Safety Training

Responsibilities
  • Deliver Cabin Cleaning services in accordance with the Airlines procedures under the direction of a Team Leader
  • Cleaning the aircraft interior, including but not limited to seats, side walls, ceiling panels, carpet, galleys and cabin lavatories; waste removal; linen change; and stock replenishment
  • Ensure compliance and safety regulations are met to the highest standard at all times and Meeting the On Time Performance of the aircraft
  • Represent both the Airline and Star to the highest-level ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Work either alone or as part of a team
  • Actively participate in undertaking duties in a safe, professional manner
  • Ensure the safe and secure operation of all equipment
  • Report equipment malfunction to the Team Leader
  • Where qualified, operate Ground Service equipment (GSE) in accordance with correct procedures
