British Columbia Land Surveyor (BCLS)
who has experience in the Legal Oil/Gas Survey sector in British Columbia and has the desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.

The Work:

  • Managing survey projects of various sizes
  • Working with field crews, drafters, plan checkers, and Land Surveyors
  • Working with other Project Leads for sharing of resources
  • Creating and submitting project estimates to clients
  • Working with clients to understand the project scope
  • Working in a dynamic environment with changing deadlines
  • Drafting or Calculation of well site, pipeline, as-built, and legal plans
  • Aid in creation of clean and professional-looking deliverables
  • Quality Control of data and deliverables
  • Understanding of Land Survey drawings and Western Canadian Land Tenure systems
  • Ability to work unsupervised from home using CORE’s virtual system

What you bring to the table:

  • Commissioned British Columbia Land Surveyor (Articling students may be considered)
  • Strong focus on relationships, both internal and external to CORE.
  • The desire for excellence in all that you do.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to liaise with clients
  • Creativity
  • A degree/diploma from a Technical College or University in Geomatics
  • Five to ten years of experience in legal oilfield surveys
  • Experience with construction surveying would be an asset
