ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
We’re looking for a passionate and strategic Services Marketing Lead to drive customer and commercial growth across Services portfolio of products. Working within British Gas, a brand rich in heritage with a bold new brand platform built for future growth, you’ll help shape the marketing strategy for our Services business and drive a more retail driven culture, being obsessed with our customers and creating go-to-market strategies that have an impact on our business performance.
This role will involve creating go-to-market strategies, collaborating with product teams to develop customer-centric propositions, and defining and executing retail marketing strategies. Working closely with the British Gas and Group Marketing Directors you will help shape how we market our products and services and drive customer and commercial growth.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping and executing bold, insight-led go-to-market strategies for our Services business unit. You’ll define how our product portfolio comes to life across the full marketing mix—ensuring every campaign, message, and channel reflects our strategic vision and connects with our audience.
You’ll take the lead on commercial marketing initiatives, developing and delivering retail strategies that drive growth, boost visibility, and increase our market share. Your work will directly influence how we show up in the market and how customers experience our brand.
Collaboration is key. You’ll work closely with product teams to craft compelling, customer-first propositions that meet real needs and align with both market demands and business goals. Your ability to translate insights into action will be crucial as you monitor trends, analyse customer behaviour, and keep a close eye on the competitive landscape to inform and refine our marketing efforts.
You’ll also be the guardian of the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring every touchpoint is aligned and contributes to a seamless, brand-consistent experience. From first impression to final interaction, your work will help deliver on our brand promise.
Managing budgets will be part of your toolkit too—allocating resources smartly to maximise return on investment and ensure every pound spent delivers impact. And as the key marketing interface within the Services commercial team, you’ll build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and customers alike, acting as a trusted connector and collaborator.
