Description Opening Date: 02/04/2026 Closing Date: 02/18/2026 Job Title: Broadband Project Manager Salary/Wage: 38.39/hr Tribal Level: TL 123.1 Location: Siletz, Oregon Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt - Limited Duration Job Posting Number: 3893790 INTRODUCTION: The Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians (CTSI) is in the process of constructing and deploying broadband infrastructure. This position will be primarily responsible for all facets of the broadband infrastructure development. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating all partners including engineers, architects, grantors, contractors, and sub-contractors in the construction, deployment, operations, and reporting of grant activities for the broadband infrastructure. The incumbent is expected to learn all facets of the broadband infrastructure and assist in training others. DUTIES: Evaluate broadband coverage needs in conjunction with contractors and consultants. Perform grant administration tasks to include data collection and evaluation, grant reporting, budget tracking, and agency correspondence. Develop a plan, method, and timeline with contractors and consultants to implement extension of last-mile access to potential customers and anchor institutions. Provide written and verbal progress reports. Schedules and hosts cross-functional project meetings across multiple contractors and consultants. Track project deliverables (from content, design, construction and implementation) against project requirements (e.g. scope, timelines, and budget) from initial planning through completion. Develops, prioritizes and implements project plans, including customer promotion program, press events and activities. Compiles estimated cost, budgets and prepares reports. Determines appropriates responses to problems and emergencies. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of an associate’s degree in a related field and 2 years’ experience in a related field and/or project management, or a bachelor’s degree in a related field. A relevant combination of education and experience will be considered. Project management certification preferred. Two plus years in broadband infrastructure preferred. Knowledge in: Project management that includes deliverables, timelines, and project workflow. Grants' management and reporting. Experience in: Project planning and implementation. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and project management software. Ability to: Plan, coordinate and implement large scale projects. Train and demonstrate competency in all facets of broadband infrastructure construction, deployment, and management. Work with a wide variety of people, including tribal, local, state, federal agencies. Effectively communicate with the contractors, engineers, grant personnel, Tribal members, and community members. Communicate effectively using both verbal and written skills. Exercise strong interpersonal, organizational, and relationship building skill to effectively work as part of a team. Work independently to solve problems through creativity and resourcefulness. Travel locally and nationally. Demonstrate commitment to safety through strict adherence to health and safety requirements. Work in a variety of conditions, including harsh weather and dense vegetation if needed. Other: Must possess a valid driver's license, insurance and be eligible to drive a GSA vehicle.
