The Opportunity
For our Broadcasting Engineering team based in Brugherio (MB) we are looking for a Broadcast Engineer – full time permanent.
In this role you will be working on shift under the supervision of the Manager, Broadcast Engineering, providing system support for the broadcast infrastructure and support for end users. You will provide root cause analysis of escalated and complex incidents/problems related to broadcasting systems, supporting our Live Production Infrastructure.

Your Impact
Some of your responsibilities:
-

Provide all technical support for the broadcasting systems in the Live Production environment, Distribution to Linear and Streamed platforms as well as Web Streams and Social.

• Accountable for equipment specifications, system design, and installation.
• Project work, including research, installation and configuration.
• Evaluation and testing of all broadcasting equipment and systems.
• Create and review standards and operating procedures for broadcasting infrastructure.
• Subject matter expert for broadcasting disaster recovery planning, implementation, and execution.
• Manage support incidents for all broadcasting systems.
• Impart technical expertise of established broadcasting standards to the wider Global Broadcast Engineering team.

What You Bring
To be successful in this role, you will need:
-

A Bachelor Technical degree or a Technical high school diploma with relevant working experience.

• A minimum of two years of recent and directly related Broadcast and Media Engineering experience in a television broadcast environment strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting broadcast equipment and systems..
• Experience of working with Broadcast Cameras, Video Switchers, Audio and Data. Knowledge of Video over IP and basic Network skills.
• Must possess the ability to explain technical issues clearly and patiently to all level of users.
• Must demonstrate situational flexibility adaptability to promptly transition among and between job, assignments, projects and functions.
• Italian fluent and good English.
