Broiler Supervisor Job Description Position Title: Broiler Supervisor Location: Harrison Poultry; Crawfordville, GA Employment Type: Full Time Reports To: Broiler Manager   Job Summary: The Broiler Supervisor will oversee broiler farms and collaborate closely with contract producers to ensure adherence to company standards for performance, animal welfare, and biosecurity. This position plays a critical role in supporting the success of Harrison Poultry's broiler operations.   Key Responsibilities * Conduct pre-placement checks and weekly farm visits to monitor environmental conditions and animal welfare. * Serve as a liaison between Harrison Poultry and contract producers, ensuring compliance with company policies and programs. * Track, analyze, and report bird health metrics, including mortality rates and water consumption. * Manage feed inventories, order feed, and coordinate deliveries. * Educate contract producers on company policies regarding biosecurity and animal welfare. * Perform additional duties as assigned by the Broiler Manager.   Required Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, or a related agricultural field (preferred). * Valid Driver’s License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record. * Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. * Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. * Must not own or have contact with live poultry, birds, or other animals to maintain biosecurity compliance. Work Environment: * Work occurs in poultry houses and outdoor environments, often in seasonal weather conditions. * Poultry houses may be dusty and hot at times. * Protective gear, including clear plastic boots, disposable coveralls, and hairnets, must be worn when inside poultry houses.
