In this role you get to wear two hats; supporting our customers through outstanding reception assistance and also provide value-added admin/back-office support to our team of brokers. This role will help the day-to-day office run smoothly and be a champion for our culture.
This role is in-office position in the Barrie, ON office (5 days per week in office).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven success in a customer service role.
  • Previous office admin experience.
  • Outstanding communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience working in a brokerage in personal lines either in a TSR or CSR role or prior working experience working in TAM or EPIC is an asset.
  • It would be an asset if you held a RIBO license or have a willingness to obtain it
Responsibilities

Other than working alongside a great team of colleagues, you will …

  • Answer & direct incoming calls, greet clients and visitors.
  • Manage incoming correspondence, mail, courier, scanning.
  • Run daily download and close day processes.
  • Enter and upload policy and customer information on the various insurance carrier portals.
  • Take and process client payments and make courtesy calls to clients on payment reminders.
  • Provide support to the brokers where necessary (e.g. pink slips, etc.).
  • Provide support to the Accounting Administrator, Supervisor and Principal Broker as required.
  • Assist with company initiatives, technology enhancements, etc.
  • Set up new hires in the various systems, portals, etc.
  • Update codes & letters in the system as required.
  • Support compliance reporting, including tracking continuing education hours for the brokerage.
  • Continuously seek out ways to improve the overall RK Mooney customer and employee experience.
  • Maintain postage meter, Interac machine, alarm system, etc.
  • Order and maintain supplies/inventory to ensure teams have what they need.
