OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in swimming and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching individuals of all ages and skill levels. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in promoting water safety, enhancing swimming skills, and fostering a positive learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in teaching swimming or coaching is preferred but not required.
• Strong swimming skills with the ability to demonstrate various techniques effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Patience and adaptability to work with diverse age groups and skill levels.
• Certification in CPR, First Aid, or Lifeguarding is a plus but can be obtained after hiring.
• A passion for water safety and promoting healthy lifestyles through swimming. Join us in making a difference in our community by helping individuals become confident swimmers!

  Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 20 per week

• Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups, tailoring instruction to meet the needs of each participant.
• Teach fundamental swimming techniques, water safety skills, and stroke improvement to students of varying ages and abilities.
• Create engaging lesson plans that promote skill development while ensuring a fun and supportive atmosphere.
• Monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment in the pool area, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress, concerns, or recommendations for further development.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance teaching methods and stay updated on best practices in swim instruction.
