WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING  * Maintaining a clean, food-safe your working station  * Replenishing your own single person station with correct ingredients  * Identify ingredient shorts before the stations run out of ingredients  * Flag delays and quality issues to the packaging leads  * Maintain organization in the production area  * Flatten cardboard boxes and put them in the recycling gaylords  * Dispose of garbage, plastic waste and food waste in the designated bins  * Returning portioned ingredients to the cooler in an organized manner on rolling dollies  * Follow up with bag-checker for any missing ingredients in the SBUs  * Maintain FIFO of the portioned ingredients  WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR  * 1+ years of experience in food prep, restaurant, warehouse, or busy retail environment preferred.  * Able to work in a high-paced warehouse environment with strict deadlines.  * Comfortable working in a temperature controlled environment. The warehouse is kept at between 0 to 10 degrees Celsius.  * Extremely proficient at multitasking  * Detail oriented and meticulous  * Able to work in a mixed schedule is essential  * Able to stand on your feet for 8 hour shifts  * Ability to lift, push, pull objects up to 50 lbs (23 kgs)  * Punctual attendance is essential.  What You Can Expect  * $18.80/hour  * Schedule of: Thursday (3pm - 11pm), Friday (8am - 4pm), and Saturday (3pm -11pm) * The opportunity to be part of a certified B-Corporation making a tangible difference in sustainable food systems Fresh Prep is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) and prohibits discrimination of any kind.
