  • 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off (FIFO or DIDO available ex Brisbane)
  • Talinga at Kogan based
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Be responsible for providing critical technical support for the commissioning and ongoing maintenance of electrical and instrument equipment in the Brownfields Instrumentation and Electrical Team at Talinga.

Bring your planning and executing preventative and corrective maintenance experience, to expertly troubleshoot address fault-finding. Play a role in developing key documentation such as Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Management of Change (MOC), ensuring all activities are performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Maintain a high-level focus on safety and the environment
  • Provide technical assistance for maintenance activities.
  • Assist the maintenance team to meet overall objectives.
  • Assist in commissioning activities as required
  • Active participation in permit to work system (SCOW) and Job Safety Activities (JSAs) to ensure a safe work environment for all employees during commissioning tasks
  • Hands on Testing, Commissioning & Maintenance of various types of Electrical/Instrument equipment (EEHA)

You will role model Origin’s values, be self-driven, with ability to be proactive and take initiative. A team player with ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of people across levels, building positive, productive working relationships.

  • QLD Electrical Trade Licence
  • Experience in testing, commissioning & maintenance of electrical and instrument equipment in a hazardous area
  • Experience with working within a Permit to Work System, including isolations in gas field sites.
  • Experience in interpreting electrical schematics, circuit diagrams and P&ID’s
  • Sound understanding of Health Safety and Environmental practices.
  • Experience with a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Origin’s is currently SAP
  • Ideally experience in testing & commissioning of LV Electrical systems. High Voltage experience is preferred.
  • Certificate III Instrumentation and Control or Cert IV Instrumentation and Control (with experience)
