Brunch Chef Location: Blighty Cafe, Finsbury Park, London N4 2JF Hours: Part time - weekends and 2 weekdays - Blighty Café on Blackstock Rd is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic chef to join our friendly team. We specialise in serving delicious, high-quality brunch fare, and we’re looking for a chef who can deliver a consistent, high standard of cooking while working independently in the kitchen. Role Responsibilities: • Prepare and cook a variety of classic brunch dishes, full english, avocado toast, full breakfasts, Scrambled Eggs, pancakes, and more. • Manage multiple orders and tickets simultaneously, ensuring timely preparation and presentation of dishes. • Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety at all times. • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and communication. • Menu creation and plating standards.
What We’re Looking For: • Proven experience as a chef or cook, particularly in a fast-paced café or brunch setting. • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple orders at once. • Confidence in preparing a variety of dishes, with a strong attention to detail in both taste and presentation. • Health and Safety Level 2 (Level 3 preferred) • Passion for delivering great food and creating a welcoming café experience.
