Due to the growing popularity of Roost Café at Goddenwick Farm, we’re expanding our kitchen and our menu, so we’re looking for a talented Brunch/Lunch Chef to join our team.
We want to take our brunch offerings to the next level with unique, creative dishes that will make customers want to come back. (Modern options such as Turkish eggs shakshuka, as well as café classics like a full English done properly, stacked pancakes, and some more hearty lunch options than we currently provide).
You’ll be working alongside our Café Managers, who will have the creative input into the menu direction, and you’ll be leading on creating the kitchen processes and systems required to deliver it. This means you’ll take ownership of how the food gets out – making sure service runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll have the opportunity to help shape and influence the menu, bringing your own ideas and creativity into our seasonal offering.
Wage: £13.50 - £16 an hour (up to)

Responsibilities
  • Likely hours: 7:30 am – 3.30/ 3:30 pm (to be confirmed)
  • We’re open every day - ideally 5 days per week for this role, with another chef covering the remaining two days.
  • Based in the heart of the Sussex countryside at our busy farm café.
  • High-volume kitchen - you’ll need to keep quality consistent while the orders are flying in.
